• The project is part of a provincial plan to invest about $64 billion in over 50 major hospital projects across the province over the next 10 years, which the release says will deliver roughly 3,000 new hospital beds provincewide.
• For 2026–27 the province is investing over $281 million for infrastructure at hospitals and community health facilities; Windsor Regional Hospital is receiving over $2.6 million through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund, according to the release.
