Alberta appoints four members to electoral-boundaries panel

Alberta’s Select Special Committee on Electoral Boundaries appointed four people to an independent advisory panel: Gerard Kennedy, Brent Robinson, Monte Solberg and Darwin Durnie.

The panel is tasked with reviewing Alberta’s electoral boundaries and recommending changes to the areas, boundaries and names of electoral divisions. The Legislative Assembly passed Government Motion 37, which sets out the panel’s mandate, on April 21, 2026.
