Sparta Energy electricity export request

Summary#

Who's affected#

• People or groups who want to buy electricity for use in Canada and declared that interest.
• Provincial electricity authorities and utilities, especially provinces other than the one supplying the exported power.
• The applicant, Sparta Energy, Inc., and anyone involved in cross‑border electricity trade.
• It is not clear from the notice which province the exported electricity would come from. That would affect which provincial markets are most directly involved.
