New Substances Added to Domestic List

Summary#

This is Order 2020-87-09-01 Amending the Domestic Substances List (SOR/2020-136). It adds a small set of chemical substances to Canada’s federal Domestic Substances List. The order was signed by Jonathan Wilkinson on June 12, 2020 and registered on June 19, 2020 (published in the Canada Gazette on July 8, 2020).

  • 19161-9 — Plant-based oil, polymer with diethylene glycol, glycerol, pentaerythritol, terephthalic acid, tetraethylene glycol and triethylene glycol
  • 19448-6 — Alkanoic acid, ethenyl ester, polymer with chloroethene and ethenyl acetate
  • 19449-7 — Fatty acids, C16-18 and C18-unsatd., polymers with substituted alkanoate, polyethylene glycol mono‑Me ether, sorbitol and 3α,4,7,7α-tetrahydro-1,3-isobenzofurandione
  • 19450-8 — 2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, polymer with cyclohexyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, ethenylbenzene, 2-ethylhexyl 2-propenoate and alkyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate
  • 19451-9 — 1-Propene, polymer with ethene, modified with alkane dioic acid, (substituted carbomonocycle)phenyl substituted
