Summary#
This is an erratum published in the Canada Gazette on September 9, 2023. It fixes the corporate name used in a previous notice about an APPLICATION TO EXPORT ELECTRICITY TO THE UNITED STATES, changing it to AlbertaEx G.P. Inc., on behalf of AlbertaEx, L.P. The original notice ran on page 2888 of Vol. 157, No. 35 dated September 2, 2023.
What it does#
- Corrects two places in the earlier notice where the company name was written as “AlbertaEx, L.P.”
- The two corrected places are the subheading and the first paragraph of that notice.
- No other changes or new information about the export application are given in this erratum.
Who's affected#
- AlbertaEx G.P. Inc., on behalf of AlbertaEx, L.P. (the company whose name was corrected).
- People and organizations who follow or are interested in the export-of-electricity notice (regulators, industry observers, and anyone using the Gazette record).
- If unclear: the erratum is administrative, so it does not appear to change the substance of the export application itself.
Why it matters#
- Public records should correctly identify the party involved. This helps avoid confusion about who applied to export electricity.
- It is mainly an administrative correction; it does not, by itself, change any rights or decisions reported in the original notice.
