PETITION TO THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA WHEREAS • Access to oral health care is essential to overall health and well-being, and the Canada Dental Benefit, intended to address longstanding gaps for low- and modest-income Canadians, has been impeded by excessive paperwork and complex administrative requirements that create barriers to access and undermine program effectiveness; • Reducing unnecessary administrative barriers improves accessibility, efficiency, and fairness while ensuring federal programs serve their intended purpose. THEREFORE We, the undersigned citizens and permanent residents of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to significantly reduce administrative and paperwork requirements associated with the Canada Dental Benefit so that essential supports are accessible and effective.
