The city council has appointed Sarah-Maude Cossette for a first three-year term starting in August 2026, and Kenza Chahlouni for a second three-year term starting in August 2026, as members of the Council of Montreal Women. It has also appointed Marie-Ève Voghel Robert as a member for a second three-year term starting in September 2026, and Meryem Benslimane as vice-chair for a two-year term starting in August 2026. The council thanked Christina Nancy Eyangos for her contribution; the resolution was adopted unanimously.
