Tracadie manufacturer to add robotic production line and expand plant

MQM Quality Manufacturing will modernize and expand its Tracadie facility with nearly $4.4 million in combined government support.

• New Brunswick is providing up to $875,000 toward an automated steel production line with robotic fabrication and welding. Payments will be made in stages as production milestones are met.
• The federal government is providing $3.5 million for a robotic manufacturing cell and a facility expansion to improve material flow and manufacturing efficiency.
• The project is expected to support up to six new full-time jobs and generate nearly $5 million in GDP by the end of 2027.
