Kingston’s New HART Hub Opens with Treatment and Housing Supports
The hub at 661 Montreal Street connects people with addiction, mental health, health, housing and basic-needs services through local partners.
Summary
Ontario’s Kingston HART Hub is now open at 661 Montreal Street, replacing the province’s last provincially funded drug injection site. Addiction and Mental Health Services–Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington is the lead agency, working with local community partners.
Services include:
- Primary care, mental health and addiction treatment
- Housing and community-service connections, showers, beds and other basic supports
- On-site care coordination, group activities and peer support
- Access to Indigenous-led programs and cultural supports
The hub will be supported by more than 50 transitional and supportive housing units. Ontario says all 29 HART Hubs are now open, with more than $560 million invested across the network and more than 46,000 clients served since its launch in April 2025.
HART Hubs do not provide safer supply, supervised drug consumption or needle exchange services. Needle return and collection services are eligible.
