The bill defines a "qualified individual" as (A) an active duty member of the Armed Forces and (B) a full-time employee of the United States, a State, or a political subdivision who is authorized in the course of official duties to carry a firearm. The bill also revises the age statements sellers must obtain for different types of firearms and defines "ammunition feeding device." Separately, the bill requires the FBI Director to submit a report within 90 days about the FBI's public access line, including current information-sharing protocols with field offices and recommendations to improve that information-sharing.
