Saskatchewan recognizes transportation workers Sept. 21–27
The province is highlighting the people behind its transportation network and plans about $764 million in infrastructure investment in its 2026–27 budget.

Infrastructure and projects: The Ministry of Highways’ 2026–27 budget includes approximately $764 million for transportation infrastructure. Major projects include highway twinning and corridor improvements, passing lanes, and a Highway 2 overpass at the Trans-Canada Highway near Moose Jaw.
The ministry operates and maintains more than 26,500 km of highways, 16 northern airports and 12 ferries. Its Highway Hotline provides information on construction zones, ferry crossings, closures and wildfire-related incidents.
