The city council has approved, with reservations, the need for buildings to be acquired to construct schools in six school sectors of the Montreal School Service Centre: five sectors at the primary level and the Quartier-Namur-Hippodrome at the secondary level. It rejected the need for the Parc-Extension sector at the primary level; the decision was adopted unanimously.
