The municipal council unanimously adopted a favorable orientation for granting financial support of $220,500 to Les scènes de Musique Alternatives du Québec (SMAQ) for the project "Cultural Buyer Society: structuring, experimentation, and acquisition of a pilot building from 2026 to 2028." It also approved the draft agreement between the City of Montreal and the organization, which establishes the terms and conditions for the disbursement of the support.
