The municipal council has approved an agreement between the City of Montreal and the Plancher Fund for a pilot project facilitating pre-development financing for social or affordable housing projects on municipal land. It has also authorized a guarantee with the National Bank of Canada, for the benefit of the Plancher Fund, in an amount not exceeding $3,000,000, and the reservation of budget credits equivalent to the guaranteed amount.
