The municipal council has approved two agreements between the Minister of Municipal Affairs, the Chief Electoral Officer of Quebec, and the City of Montreal to implement two pilot projects during any by-election before the general election of 2029. These projects would allow for the addition of photographs of candidates on ballots and the presentation of their web profiles.
