Farm Credit Adjustment Act

Summary#

This bill amends Section 5.19(a) of the Farm Credit Act of 1971. It gives the Farm Credit Administration (FCA) the option to extend the time between mandatory examinations for institutions the FCA deems "low-risk" to not more than 24 months. The change is made by inserting an exception into the first sentence of that section. The amendment takes effect on October 1, 2026.
