This bill requires Federal purchases of nitrile (non-surgical) exam gloves to follow the domestic-sourcing and long-term contracting rules in the Make PPE in America Act. It forces shared procurement vehicles (including AbilityOne-related arrangements) to use written supplier agreements with U.S. glove makers and to buy gloves that are made only by qualified domestic manufacturers. The broad goal is to make sure the Federal Government buys nitrile gloves that are made in the United States from companies it can rely on long term.
