Saskatchewan expands industry partnerships on public infrastructure

Saskatchewan says closer work with construction firms and suppliers will help deliver public infrastructure and give businesses better access to upcoming projects.

• The Construction Roundtable brings together people from across the construction supply chain to discuss challenges and possible solutions.
• Early bid bond releases free up suppliers’ capital, while a relaunched quarterly tender plan gives businesses more visibility into upcoming projects.
• The Priority Saskatchewan and Stakeholder Relations Branch connects suppliers with procurement opportunities and helps address issues.

By the numbers

• In 2025-26, the province awarded 490 procurements worth $741 million. Saskatchewan-based companies received more than 94% of the value, or $698 million.
• The province’s Growth Plan targets $30 billion in infrastructure spending by 2030.
