The municipal council approved the agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Quebec and the City of Montreal for the operation and funding of the food inspection programs from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028. It authorized the receipt of a financial counterpart of $5,881,700 for the year 2026, $6,062,268 for the year 2027, and $6,248,380 for the year 2028.
