The municipal council has reviewed the report of the Standing Committee on the examination of contracts and has recommended awarding a five-year contract to AtkinsRéalis Canada inc. and Atelier SENS fundamental architecture inc. to oversee the construction work on the oxygen production unit at the Jean-R.-Marcotte treatment plant. The contract is for $9,535,338.38, taxes included, with a contingency budget of $476,766.92, taxes included, for a total expenditure of $10,012,105.30, taxes included.
