The municipal council approved financial support of $1,174,326.52 to the Canadian Red Cross to assist disaster victims following emergency interventions by the Montreal Fire Safety Service in the territory of the agglomeration. It also approved the draft memorandum of understanding for a duration of two years, starting September 1, 2026, and authorized the director of the Service to sign it.
