The municipal council has authorized the receipt of a maximum grant of $2,030,000 from the Ministry of Public Safety to fund the Sexual Offender Monitoring Team from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2027, as well as the maintenance of six temporary police positions and one temporary civilian position. It has also authorized an additional budget of revenues and expenditures of $761,200 for 2025 and $1,015,000 for 2026, as well as an adjustment to the budget base for the subsequent year.
