The municipal council authorizes the receipt of a grant of $2,978,100 from the Department of Homeland Security to fund the Integrated Anti-Pimping Team and the Integrated Anti-Child Pornography Team, from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. It also authorizes an additional budget of revenues and expenditures of $2,233,600 for 2026, an adjustment to the budget base for the following year, the temporary addition of 14 police positions, and the creation of a temporary civilian position for the same period.
