The municipal council recommended exercising the option for a 12-month extension of the framework agreements with Kemira Water Treatment Solutions Inc., Windsor Salt Ltd, Sodrox Chemicals Ltd, and Brenntag Canada Inc. to provide eight batches of chemicals to drinking water plants. It recommended an additional expenditure of $7,306,239.90, taxes included, as well as a quantity variation budget of $1,095,935.98, taxes included; the decision was adopted unanimously.
