The municipal council directed the agglomeration council to award Reftech International Inc. the contract to upgrade the incineration systems of sludge 2 and 4 at the Jean-R.-Marcotte treatment plant, for $1,291,587.33, taxes included. It also authorized a contingency budget of $258,317.47, taxes included, and the completion of a performance evaluation of the company.
