The city council unanimously adopted the direction to exercise the option for the first 12-month extension of the contract with Peraton International LLC for the maintenance of the software of the SPVM's computer-assisted dispatch system. It authorized an additional expenditure of $599,490.12 USD ($953,389.64 CAD, taxes included) and a contingency budget of $47,669.48 CAD, taxes included.
