The municipal council approved the financial assistance agreements between Montreal and each of the linked cities under component 2 of the Accelerate Local Climate Transition program, and committed to adhering to the program's terms and covering the costs that are not subsidized. It also approved a total financial support of $1,892,000 to eight linked cities to plan and implement projects arising from their climate plans, as well as a grant agreement between Montreal and Pointe-Claire replacing the one approved by resolution CG26 0382.
