The municipal council approved a direction to grant $1,500,000 to the Montreal Physical and Photonic Technology Center - Optech for the project Boosting the Photonic Innovation Ecosystem in Montreal, from September 2026 to May 2029, under the Reflex 3 agreement concluded with the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy. It also approved the draft agreement between the City and the organization to establish the terms of the financial support.
